At Omega Center for People with Disabilities in Qatar, every individual’s journey begins with a comprehensive initial assessment. Our assessment process helps us understand each person’s unique strengths, abilities, developmental needs, challenges, and learning potential. Through a personalized approach, we identify the appropriate educational support, therapeutic interventions, and individualized goals to help each person make meaningful progress.

Personalized Education and Therapy Planning

Following the assessment, our multidisciplinary team uses the findings to develop an individualized educational and therapeutic intervention plan. The plan reflects each person’s abilities, needs, priorities, and developmental or functional goals, helping guide the selection of appropriate learning strategies, therapies, and support services.

Our goal is to provide individualized support that encourages skill development, greater independence, participation in daily activities, and meaningful progress. Plans are tailored to the individual rather than applying the same approach to everyone.

Progress Assessment and Regular Plan Reviews

Individual needs and abilities can change over time, so assessment and planning are ongoing processes at Omega Center. We conduct comprehensive progress assessments every four months to review each person’s progress, identify improvements and continuing challenges, and evaluate the effectiveness of current educational and therapeutic interventions.

Based on the findings, our multidisciplinary team reviews and updates the individual’s plan where necessary. These regular reviews help ensure that educational goals, therapeutic strategies, and support services remain appropriate as needs evolve, promoting continued development, functional skills, and greater independence.

Empowering Children

.... initially assessing by three therapists (Behavioral, occupational, and Speech therapists)

Our initial assessment is conducted by a multidisciplinary team of experienced specialists, including special educators, a behavioral therapist, an occupational therapist, and a speech and language therapist. Each professional evaluates the individual’s needs within their area of expertise, considering communication, behavior, sensory processing, social interaction, motor skills, learning readiness, and daily living abilities.

By bringing together the findings from these professional evaluations, our team develops a comprehensive understanding of the individual’s strengths, support requirements, and areas for development. This collaborative approach helps us identify suitable educational programs and therapeutic services based on each person’s needs and abilities.
