June 2, 2025 Throwback to Sports Day 2025 at Aspire Park!At Omega Center for People with Disabilities, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to participate, connect, and celebrate their abilities. On February 13, 2025, children, families, caregivers, and staff came together at Aspire Park for Omega Center Sports Day 2025, creating a memorable day filled with fun, movement, and community spirit. Throughout the event, participants enjoyed an inclusive environment that encouraged teamwork, active participation, confidence, and meaningful connections. Moreover, the activities provided children with valuable opportunities to develop social skills, strengthen relationships, and celebrate their achievements in a supportive community. A Day of Joy, Movement, and Memories This year’s celebration featured two engaging activities that were not only fun but also accessible for our community: Frisbee Fun Participants enthusiastically took part in friendly Frisbee games, showcasing teamwork, coordination, and excitement. The open space of Aspire Park allowed everyone to move freely, enjoy the fresh air, and connect through sport. Hopping Races The hopping races brought out some of the biggest smiles of the day! With vibrant energy, participants hopped their way to the finish line, cheered on by family members, caregivers, and staff. The races were a heartwarming display of determination, joy, and community spirit.
